About Us – Power4Ukraine

My name is Leshan Natalia, and from the very first day of the full-scale invasion, I’ve been helping Ukraine.

I am the co-founder of the Dutch foundation Help4Ukraine, and through this webshop, I want to give people a way to express their solidarity with Ukraine — not just with words, but with action.

We sell patches made in Ukraine — every piece you see here is crafted by Ukrainians. When you buy a patch, you’re not just showing support — you’re strengthening the Ukrainian economy, empowering local producers, and reminding our defenders that the world hasn’t forgotten them.

But this story is also personal.

War entered my life twice.
The first time was in Moldova, where I was born — in the region of Transnistria, which was occupied by Russian forces. After the conflict, many people there became citizens without nationality. We were given a choice: Moldovan, Russian, or Ukrainian citizenship.

I chose Ukraine.
I had moved there to escape poverty, to work, to rebuild my life — and Ukraine gave me the chance to do that.
That’s why today, I call myself an adopted daughter of Ukraine.

Later, I moved to the Netherlands, where I now live and raise my children. But Ukraine is still my home in heart and spirit. That’s why I’ve dedicated everything — my time, my energy, my voice — to supporting it.
